Gridiron Elite Classic Week 1
The Gridiron Elite Classic was a great idea on paper. A tourney during the spring that pitted some of the up an coming teams from all around the tri-state area in round robin tourney action. Week #1 wasn’t a disappointment as all the games but one played into the 4th quarter with one being deciding with seconds left on the clock. During the first game the NY Spartans were defeated by the Demon Knights 13-12. The second game saw the Tourney #1 Seed Long Island Ravens defeat the Long Island Panthers 29-7. The final game saw the revamped NY Venom defeated by the startup CT. Bearcats 22-12.
