Rebels Host Banquet To Celebrate 21 Years of Service

After two decades of developing talent of Bronx area youth, the Bronx Rebels definately have something to celebrate.  With the season at its conclusion and the proram gearing up for another championship run in 2010, the Rebels are hosting their end of the year banquet.  Besides recognition to the Champion Pee Wee team, the Rebels will be giving out season awards for MVP’s and also inductions into their hall of fame for distinguished alumni. 

THE 2010 REBEL FOOTBALL AWARDS BREAKFAST WILL TAKE PLACE SATURDAY FEBRUARY 6TH – 10AM  AT MAESTRO’ S CATERING HALL – 1730 BRONXDALE AVENUE.

BANQUET TICKETS ARE $28.00 PER PLAYER, OR COACH.   HOWEVER,   IF A PLAYER  OR COACH IS PURCHASING TWO TICKETS OR MORE – TICKET PRICING WILL BE  $24.00 PER TICKET.

First Look at 7 on 7 Invitational

The staff at the Gridiron Elite are workin feverishy in developing a top notch High School player development program to accompany its dynamic youth and adult football operations (Full Video on 7 on 7 see featured video on right side).  The Gridiron Elite is an organization that is committed to providing opportunity to young people to participate in positive community programs through the sport of  football.  This year the Gridiron Elite will continue to provide assistance to local New York City high schools through resources and volunteering in order to ensure our youth have a great experience playing high school football.  For those that do not have football teams at their own schools, the Gridiron Elite also has the Bronx Rebels senior level teams that play competitive football across the tri state area.

The staff is already working on a plan for both spring and summer of 2010 including some projects that are truly revolutionary to the area.  So keep tuning into what going on at the Elite through the fall, follow all the action and come out to the stadium and see one of the many programs that are really flourishing.  Stay tuned for more coverage of this years 7 on 7 invitational throughout the week.

 

 

Westchester Team Takes 1st Annual 7 on 7 Title!!!

With the skies over the Bronx shining on a beautiful summer day, it was the perfect say for football.  Student athletes from various are in the Bronx and Westchester Countycame out to Gridiron Elite Stadium to compete in a 7 on 7 tournament.  The athletes represented their colors proudly as there was top notch action from the opening play to the final whistle in the championship game which went into shootout style overtime.  Stay tuned over the next few days as we chronicle this amzing event and bring to you highlights, summaries and video from the first annual 7 on 7 High School Invitational.
