Rebels loss in heartbreaker !

The Bronx Rebels Jr. Pros traveled across the Whitestone Bridge on a snowy Sunday afternoon to face the Knights at Roy Wilkins Park. The only thing missing on this wet and soggy Sunday was the mud that we love in football but on a Nexturf field its just hard hitting football. If thats what you wanted to see this game was exactly what the die hard fan would have ordered. The first score came just three plays into the game as Steve Torres #9 hooked up with #6 Dexter Bello for a 45 yard score. The next score coming on another TD throw from #9 as he hooked up with #44 Duray Gardner. The game ended in regulation with the score tied 12-12 and it was decdidd during the second session as the Knights secured then win 18-12.

The Rebels will face the Queens Gladiators next week in round one of the playoffs. The Rebels won the regular season match up by a score of 26-12. This game will be played December 8th at 1PM at Evander Childs HS.
