“Its with great pleasure that we could align ourself with the future of football here in our area” says Coach Billy Badson. The Gridiron Elite will continue to expand during the 2009 year incoperating and bringing to the table liked minded teams in one common goal. The New York Spartans will cater to the younger players and post college and players looking to pursue football beyond college will more than likely play on the New York Bandits roster.

Without any formal affiliation the 2008 season was great as the Bandits and Spartans share the same practice field and actually ran several joint practices during the year. Its a great way to bring some of the older players in direct contact with the younger guys. This affiliation will grow and each program will benefit year in and year out.

The High School landscape is littered with New York Bandits several local coaches are all Bandit Alumni so it only makes sense to give back to the community in this fashion.
